Data analyst (Assistant GIS Engineer)

  • The assistance GIS engineer is responsible for assisting in daily team duties primarily focused on geographic information system (GIS) data creation, processing, analyze and interpret to support Skyller’s engineering and operations team. The assistance GIS engineer has experience with GIS Software, and safe work practices. The assistance GIS engineer often works with engineer and drone operations team to assist in projects and other various tasks providing support and basic GIS functions.  

    Work assigned involves proficiency in the use of basic to standard GIS software, GPS data collection and standards and ability to import into GIS, tools and utilities to carry out assignments ranging from basic to routine and is performed following specific and detailed instructions as to methods, procedures and guidelines. 

    • มีความรู้เชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับระบบสารสนเทศภูมิศาสตร์ (GIS), การรับรู้จากระยะไกล (Remote-sensing), ระบบ GNSS และโฟโตแกรมเมทรี (Photogrammetry)

    • มีความรู้เกี่ยวกับซอฟต์แวร์เฉพาะทาง เช่น ArcGIS, QGIS, ESRI, Pix4d, หรือซอฟต์แวร์ LiDAR เป็นต้น

    • สามารถวิเคราะห์ภาพจากโดรน (UAV) และดาวเทียมได้

    • มีความสามารถในการทำงานทางเทคนิคที่สำคัญได้อย่างอิสระในโครงการที่มีขนาดเล็กไปจนถึงขนาดใหญ่

    • คุ้นเคยกับเทคนิคการสำรวจ (Survey mapping) และการทำแผนที่ดิจิทัล (Digitizing techniques)

    • หากสามารถเขียนโค้ดภาษา Python เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการทำงาน หรือมีความรู้เกี่ยวกับฐานข้อมูล (Database) เพื่อจัดเก็บข้อมูลให้ทำงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ

    • พัฒนา, นำไปใช้ และดูแลระบบ GIS ใหม่ๆ ที่สามารถบูรณาการข้อมูลเชิงพื้นที่ (Spatial data) และไม่ใช่เชิงพื้นที่ (Non-spatial data) รวมถึงแอปพลิเคชันต่างๆ ในเครือข่าย

    • ตรวจสอบและรักษาความปลอดภัยของแอปพลิเคชัน GIS โดยประสานงานกับพนักงานภายในองค์กรและพันธมิตรภายนอก

    • พัฒนา, ทดสอบ, แก้ไขข้อผิดพลาด และดูแลระบบแอปพลิเคชัน GIS บนเว็บ รวมถึงเครื่องมือและเว็บเซอร์วิสที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยใช้กระบวนการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์มาตรฐาน

    • ให้การสนับสนุน, แก้ไขปัญหา, ปรับปรุง, และบำรุงรักษาระบบ GIS รวมถึงสคริปต์, เครื่องมือ และเว็บเซอร์วิสที่มีอยู่

    • ตรวจสอบ, ตอบสนอง, และแก้ไขปัญหาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการแจ้งเตือนจากระบบ GIS

    • ประสานงานกับพนักงานและผู้ให้บริการเพื่อวางแผน, จัดระเบียบ และรวบรวมข้อมูลที่สนับสนุนการพัฒนาและการใช้งาน GIS ให้กว้างขวางยิ่งขึ้น

    • ให้การสนับสนุนทางเทคนิคด้าน GIS ตามความจำเป็น

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Survey, Geography, GIS or other relevant fields 

    • Experience with GIS and GNSS system 

    • Experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, Pix4D 

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and effectively. 

    • Some travel and fieldwork may be required to meet business objectives. 

    • Overtime/weekend work may be required.
